National Museum Bangkok Centenary Ink Stamp Collection: Fortnightly Commemorative Stamp Series

Join Us in Celebrating the Centenary of the National Museum Bangkok

From September 2026 to August 2027, the National Museum Bangkok invites the public to commemorate its centenary through a special commemorative ink stamp collection.

Comprising 24 stamps issued throughout the anniversary year, the collection presents selected antiquities, art objects, and architectural features preserved at the National Museum Bangkok. 

Each stamp highlights an aspect of the museum’s collections and architectural heritage, offering a distinctive way to explore the institution’s historical and cultural significance.

Two stamps will be issued each month on a fortnightly basis. The stamps are designed as interconnected visual compositions: when collected and arranged together, 9–12 individual stamps form a complete image, creating a cumulative visual narrative that reflects the diverse collections and heritage of the National Museum Bangkok.

Through this commemorative series, visitors are invited not only to collect the stamps, but also to engage with selected objects, works of art, and architectural elements that embody the museum’s 100-year history and cultural heritage.
